No one really talks about Michael Jordan’s style. While nowhere close to an icon in that regard, the athlete still pulled off a few notable fits. Among one of his most iconic appearances, MJ was spotted in a retro all-over print sweater, one whose graphic was referenced more recently atop the Air Jordan 7. And soon, it seems even the Air Jordan 1 Mid will draw from the same inspiration.
The colorway elsewhere, however, is rather simple, a slight subversion of the iconic “Chicago” colorway. But the Bulls red is swapped out for a more candy-like variation, its bright tones made even more playful thanks to a patent leather. Underneath, white grounds the palette in tandem with the matching midsole, while icy blue bottoms add a touch more dimension. Finally, the aforementioned design comes to a head, accenting the collar with blocks of red, yellow, and blue, the same tones that MJ wore back in Barcelona.
