Nike debuted the Mac Attack back in 1984, a tennis shoe that was produced for John McEnroe. Announced earlier this year, the Nike Mac Attack will be returning not only in its “OG” colorway, but also take part of a collaboration with Social Status. However, James Whitner isn’t the only one who will be releasing their own take on the classic shoe, as Travis Scott has also put his trademark onto the Mac Attack silhouette.
During an event at 11even Miami, Travis Scott step on stage wearing his Mac Attack collab for the first time. This offering of the Nike Mac Attack sports a similar Grey and Black blocking as the original pair, but feature the signature reverse Swoosh that has been used on previous Nike and Air Jordan collabs from Travis. It features a mesh and leather build with checkerboard tongue labels atop a White midsole and Grey rubber outsole to completes the design. It’s unknown at this time if there is any “Cactus Jack” branding on the heels or insoles.
